listening to the soundtrack for Inside Daisy Clover (1965) and Natalie Wood really is a terrible singer. There's some spots where they've dubbed her, and it's fairly well integrated. I don't know anything about the story, but given that "You're Gonna Hear From Me" is such a prominent song and that I assume the song plays a prominent role in the movie, it's weird to cast someone like Natalie Wood when singing seems to be pretty important. But they put her in West Side Story so.

Oh yeah, I feel like Plastic Ono Band and Walls And Bridges both especially have a lot of gay angst vibe in it in their own ways. Also I forgot Whatever Gets You Through The Night! "Darlin', listen to me, I won't do you no harm" and Elton being wingman and all that.

Maybe my sense of humor is off, but I cannot stop laughing at the evil genius that is BC playing the original (and I cannot emphasize this enough) terrible demo of The Story that Phil recorded in 1998. Just the three of them sitting and staring at each other during the panel promoting the Twins’ new album at the Grammy Museum while this demo just goes on and on for a seeming eternity.
